30 hectares & 7 ponds

OUR PONDS

Created and designed by a huge fan of nature and fishing, Les Etangs de la Bassée is a tourist destination in Gravon, less than an hour from Paris. The park came to be in 2019 and grew quickly, now covering 30 hectares of lush greenery and seven ponds: Arôme, Idylle, Palmyre, Roselière, Atoll, Lagune and Lagon.

The waters of Les Etangs de la Bassée are inhabited by an extraordinary stock of fish.We work hard each day to maintain an untarnished biotope, offering an environment which is conducive to the growth and development of our fish. Our ponds are fed by water of extraordinary quality, through capillary action.

You can fish on the pond from a rowing boat or a float tube, as well as from the shore.

lagune pond

This “lagoon” is an amazing place, where schools of white fish gather in the winter after swimming over from the connected Atoll Pond. As a result, there is incredible activity here, with frequent hunts by predator fish leaping out from the surface of the water. Black bass is the main fish here, but there are also many perch and sizeable pikeperch. With an average depth of 2.8 metres, it has a very rewarding shallow zone leading to a waterfall. Most people fish on this pond from the shore as it is accessible all the way round.
